The new BGA-200 watches feature a simple, square form, a nuanced checkered face design with rich color tones, and a wide watchband that makes them wear like a bangle. These new Baby-G watches are designed to lift the spirits by helping the wearer feel like she is on vacation at a tropical resort.
The simple, square form of the new watches combines a wide watchband with a square case, based on the motif of a carry bag. The rib lines on the bezel serve as shock-resistant protectors, while providing a design accent that conveys the unique functionality of a Baby-G.
The hands and LCDs are well positioned on the watch face and the face colors are in a different tone than the body colors. Thanks to these features, the watch face design is reminiscent of a cosmetics palette. The LCD in the upper right corner of the face displays a letter G while counting the seconds, creating a look that just couldn’t be more “Baby-G.”
The lineup includes five color models: the BGA-200-2E in this year’s trendiest color, turquoise-blue, the BGA-200-3E in green, the BGA-200-4E in the always-popular color of pink, the BGA-200-7E in white, and the BGA-200-1E in black. All models are treated with a glossy finish for a splendidly elegant look.
