The octagonal GA2100 series that first debuted in 2019 has taken the watch enthusiast world by storm. According to Casio, the real design inspiration comes from combining two famous G-Shock cases from the brand’s archives.

G-SHOCK has announced a trio of full-metal GMB2100 watches, the first time this fan-favourite model has been produced in full metal. The three models will arrive in New Zealand in September and be available from Christies stores and online. GMB2100D-1A, GMB2100BD-1A, GMB2100GD-5A.

The models feature three lug connections and screw-back case backs and are the thinnest full metal models in G-SHOCK’s line-up at just 12.8mm.

The three models include G-SHOCK’s Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth Smartphone Link function, a connected app for automatic time adjustment and setting, and a unique phone finder function.

The GM-B2100 series are available in silver, dark grey and rose tone models. They feature a three-step surface-finishing process, including circular and vertical brushing and polished finishes to increase the sense of three-dimensionality.
